Undergraduate Archive

The College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) is where the liberal arts experience begins for undergraduates. CAS is the broadest in scope of all of the academic units at FIU and contains 16 departments and 7 interdisciplinary programs representing a wide variety of disciplines—from astronomy to zoology. In addition, most of the courses in the Core Curriculum are taught within CAS.

Students choose from more than forty concentrations through departments covering the liberal arts and sciences to secure the foundation of their education.
