Online Teaching Symposiums

Annual Symposiums

Each year, the College of Arts and Sciences hosts an online teaching symposium in which faculty are introduced to new models, tools, and resources to enhance student learning and engagement in the virtual classroom. During this day-long event, faculty participate in interactive sessions with outside experts/guest presenters as well as collaborate among themselves to discuss best practices in online higher education. Recently, we have expanded the symposiums to include one in the fall and one in the spring for a total of two symposiums each academic year. This change will go into effect as of Fall 2014.
