Congratulations are in order for The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum at FIU: After a rigorous process that examined all aspects of its operations, the museum has achieved accreditation by the American Association of Museums (AAM) once again.
This is the highest national recognition for which a museum can strive. The Frost was initially accredited in 1999.
“We are proud that our exhibitions and didactic programming have been deemed excellent in their quality by our colleagues at AAM,” said Carol Damian, the Frost’s director and chief curator. “This validates that we have continued to operate as an institution of superior quality in our beautiful new building.”
