An interview with MFA alumnus Dennis Lehane in today's Miami Herald is headlined "FIU: Fertile Ground for Literary Stylists" (Issues and Ideas,page 3).   Dennis, an extraordinary writer, several of whose novels have also been made into films, gives high praise to the program and to the faculty mentors he mentions by name.  We are in fact one of the top creative writing programs in the country!  Please click here for the Miami Herald article.
