Whether in the arts, computer science, physics, history or sociology, the Eugenio Pino and Family Global Entrepreneurship Center strives to make entrepreneurship an important part of education at FIU. It facilitates all entrepreneurial activities at FIU with the support of the College of Business Administration, the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences, and the College of Arts & Sciences. The unique partnerships of these Colleges have brought campus-wide awareness of entrepreneurship as an approach to life that enhances and transcends traditional academic experiences. FIU has been designated a Kauffman Campus by the Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City.
The guiding principles of the Eugenio Pino and Family Global Entrepreneurship Center are based on enhancing the economic well-being of the community in which we live, giving back to our fellow citizens, encouraging the development and sharing of wealth with those who helped produce it, and building a sustainable community of lifelong learners.
